Transportation to Kasai Rinkai Park
Getting to Kasai Rinkai Park is easy, with several convenient transportation options. Both Kasai-Rinkai-Koen Station and the Kasai-Rinkai-Koen-Ekimae bus stop are located beside the park entrance, allowing visitors to enter the park after just a 1–2 minute walk. For a more unusual experience, you can also take a Tokyo Mizube Line water bus from Odaiba Seaside Park to the Kasai Rinkai Park Water Bus Landing and enjoy a cruise across Tokyo Bay. From the pier, it is about an 11-minute walk into the main park area.

Kasai Rinkai Park Parking
The park has a “Parking Lot No. 1” that is open 24 hours a day and includes designated accessible parking spaces. During peak travel periods such as weekends, public holidays, long weekends, and special events, the park may also open “Parking Lot No. 3” and temporary parking areas that are normally closed in order to handle increased traffic. Large vehicles such as buses must reserve parking in advance. Because the parking lots often fill up quickly on holidays, using public transportation such as trains is strongly recommended to avoid wasting time.

Must-See Attractions at Kasai Rinkai Park
Tokyo Sea Life Park
As soon as you arrive near the aquarium inside Kasai Rinkai Park, the enormous 30.7-meter-high “glass dome” designed by renowned architect Yoshio Taniguchi immediately catches the eye. It is one of the park's most iconic landmarks. From the entrance side, it resembles a giant greenhouse; from the opposite side, it looks like a crystal palace floating on the sea, making it an excellent photo spot.
Tokyo Sea Life Park is currently undergoing redevelopment for a new facility, which is scheduled to open in September 2028. The current building will close after the new facility opens and will then retire from service. If you want to experience the underwater world offered by the existing Tokyo Sea Life Park, be sure to visit while you still can.
Bluefin Tuna Tank
Tokyo Sea Life Park is one of the few aquariums in Japan that keeps schools of bluefin tuna. The enormous doughnut-shaped circular tank and large floor-to-ceiling viewing windows allow visitors to watch the powerful tuna swimming together at close range, creating an impressive visual experience.
Penguin Exhibit
Tokyo Sea Life Park also has one of the largest penguin exhibition areas in Japan, housing four different penguin species. Visitors can watch them waddling on land, then enter a unique underground viewing tunnel to see the penguins gliding through the water as if they were flying.

Diamond and Flower Ferris Wheel
Standing 117 meters high, roughly equivalent to a 33-story building, this giant Ferris wheel is one of the largest in Japan. A full rotation takes about 17 minutes. On clear days, passengers can enjoy aerial views of Tokyo Bay and even see landmarks such as Mount Fuji and Tokyo Skytree in the distance. Many seasonal flower displays are also located around the Ferris wheel. After dark, its illumination show creates an especially romantic atmosphere. Visitors holding a Tokyo Sea Life Park ticket can also ride the Ferris wheel at a 10% discount.

Crystal View
Also designed by Yoshio Taniguchi, “Crystal View” is a beautiful fully transparent glass building that was selected as one of Japan's “100 Outstanding Urban Landscapes.” Visitors can take futuristic-looking photos both inside and outside the building, and can also go up to the second-floor observation room for free to enjoy panoramic views of Tokyo Bay, Tokyo Disney Resort, Tokyo Gate Bridge, and other nearby landmarks.

Seaside Plaza
Located in front of Crystal View, the “Seaside Plaza” is a wide, gently sloping lawn that is perfect for families and couples to spread out a picnic mat and relax. Following the walkway from the plaza leads directly toward the waterfront. The scenery is especially beautiful at sunset, making it one of the park's most popular photo spots.
Bird Sanctuary
Located on the eastern side of the park, the Bird Sanctuary is a valuable wild-bird habitat and protected area within Tokyo. The grounds have been carefully restored to include freshwater ponds, brackish-water ponds, and woodland habitats, attracting different bird species throughout the year. Visitors can go to the second floor of the observation center to watch wild birds with binoculars or join nature-guided tours held on weekends and public holidays.

Seasonal Flowers and Events at Kasai Rinkai Park
Daffodil Festival (January–February)
From mid-January to early February each year, around 57,000 daffodil plants producing as many as 200,000 flowers bloom directly beneath the giant Ferris wheel, creating one of the largest displays among Tokyo metropolitan parks. A lively “Daffodil Festival” is also held in early February, featuring local specialty products and a variety of stage performances.
Cherry Blossoms (March–April)
Kasai Rinkai Park has around 760 cherry trees, forming a dreamy 240-meter-long blossom-lined avenue in spring. Early-blooming Kawazu-zakura usually flower from late February to mid-March, while the main Somei Yoshino variety reaches full bloom from late March to early April. The scene of the giant Ferris wheel framed by falling cherry blossoms is an unforgettable spring photo highlight.
Sunflowers (July–August)
During the height of summer, as many as 40,000 sunflowers are planted in the lawn plaza in front of the Ferris wheel. The best viewing period is from late July to mid-August, when the bright yellow sea of flowers paired with the Ferris wheel creates one of the most dazzling summer scenes in the park.
Autumn Foliage (November–December)
From around mid-November to early December, the park's maple, ginkgo, and zelkova trees gradually change into their autumn colors. The maple scenery along the paths around the Bird Sanctuary, with the Ferris wheel in the background, is especially beautiful, while the golden ginkgo trees around the Ferris wheel are equally impressive. Park Train
Worried about getting tired walking around such a huge park? The charming “Park Train” makes it easy to tour Kasai Rinkai Park. Dining Around the Station
Next to Kasai-Rinkai-Koen Station, “Ff” is a mixed-use commercial facility with restaurants and cafes such as Starbucks and Burger King, outdoor-goods shops, and a convenience store. It is a convenient place to grab a coffee before entering the park or while waiting for your train home. The facility is currently undergoing major renovation work, and some stores are temporarily closed. Its updated appearance is expected to be revealed during 2026.
